Hi, I'm new to the quilting board. I have been reading about glue for the bindings and need to have it explained--thx a bunch..

Welcome to the board from Southern California!
Sharon Shaumberger has a site where she talks about how to do bindings with glue. Someone on here will have more information. You can try googling her to see what you find.

and here is what a $4 package of applicator tips look like, they can be found in the same aisles as the little bottles of acrylic paint in most craft sections :D:D:D

Amma, thanks for posting the picture of the tip for the glue bottle....I looked at walmart for one of those and couldn't find any. Must not have been looking in the right place.

Walmart, Micheals, JoAnns.... if you google Plaid.com they have a store finder and a list of vendors in your area :wink:

this is the tutorial video that explains the technique. when it opens, it will say part 1 at the top. when you see that you'll know you're on the right page. then click on the 'play' arrow under the picture.

Amma: thank you so much. I was not aware of this tutorial; I put lots of bindings on Project Linus quilts and I will certainly start using the glue method. Thank you!!!
