Hi everyone,

My wedding anniversary is Feb. 22nd and this year my DH and I will have been married for 9 years. What can I make him for a gift? I want it to be simple, yet romantic/sweet.

Thanks!

I arranged for my late DH to get time off from work for a long weekend (his dad was his boss) and took him fishing in the mountains. Took along all his favorite foods and camping gear already packed when he went out to the garage.
I liked fishing too so it wasn't a difficult time.

Think about what he likes. What his interest are. Or you could make a siggy blocks with the names of the children in your daycare, I realize that's not romantic. LOL. Just throwing an idea out there.

Thank you!

I was thinking of making him something since we have zero money but I have a big stash. lol He does like to go fishing, maybe I'll make him a pillow with a fish applique then ask him to help me break it in! Muah! ;)

From a guys stand point make him a lap quilt from his favorite colors or a scrappy. I love my lap quilt and use it almost daily (along with my fur babies). It doesnt have to be a complex or complicated design, a strip quilt would be awesome for a scrappy.

If it came from you and your heart he will love and cherish it, trust me on that one! ;-)

One year I made mine a 'coupon booklet' of sorts with ummmm various 'favors' that he could cash in on...it was a pretty big hit...LOL! Didn't cost me anything but time...haha!
