I ordered 4 yds of Alexander Henry's "Lion Eyes" from www.fabricparadise.com in Conneticut on Mar. 19 and today the mailman brought my package containing a generous 4 yds of fabric. YEA ! ! ! !

Very nice! What are you making? Which colorway did you get?

I made a OBW out of the Golden/brown color, and someone posted one the other day out of the black/white color which was fabulous.

I don't know yet, I guess it's speculation fabric. I saw the B&W quilt the other day and had to have some of the fabric. The gold and brown was a bit too much gold for me. I'm not much on the gold/yellow/brown family. I really liked the OBW that was posted but I don't want to do one exactly like that--similar maybe.

I'll try to remember. Today and tomorrow are really busy days for me so I might forget but I'll try.

What a wonderful package. I bet you had to spend some time drooling over it. Send a pic please.

Okay, I'm back from shopping, school birthday party is over, I'm ready and I'll try to post a pix. The Altoid box not part of the print, it's just to show the size of the print.

Is that the same fabric someone is finishing a "one block wonder" with?

Yes it is. I think it was Bailey. She used the body prints to make kalidescope blocks, did some hollow cubes, and then used some of the full size cut outs for applique. She made the quilt for her son and it is absolutely stunning. I'd like to do something similar but not exactly the same. I liked the way she appliqued on the quilt and over the inner edge of the border. I think I might like to do more hollow cubes with the animal skins inside of them then add the applique, but still I don't want the whole thing to be hollow cubes.
