Working on a Carpenter Star for my youngest daughter. The braid border is slowing me down, but it's fun to do something new.

Sorry to hear of your lost.

I am working on a baby quilt for my new great niece. Two rows and the top will be done.

Am piecing a quilt top for friend: Bear Paw blocks with sashings/cornerstones
and other setting squares .... all in homespun, which is a real challenge
as it wants to stretch and fray!

My sewing project for the day is stripping the hardwood floor in my sewing room. 35 year old paint splatters (discovered upon removal of 35 year old shag carpet) are just not that attractive, so took it upon myself to get rid of them. Have about 1/3 of the floor stripped and the knees said "no more today" . Will get back at it tomorrow

I finished ripping some stitching out of a small quilt and then re-sewed it. I discovered the mistakes while I was sewing on the binding last week. Then I threw it in the washer and dryer and it is done!

I don't sew on Saturday. I go to church. I keep the 7th day Sabbath, as a Seventh-day Adventist. JUst got home from church, and will do some reading, and phone calls.
