Finally! For the last few weeks I've been struggling to finish up work stuff (I own my own business) and house stuff (ugh!) and I'm finally caught up enough to enjoy the rest of the weekend in my quilt room. Just me and my fabrics and my machine. And several quilts to finish up. And an occasional encouraging visit from my husband to say hello.

First up - finishing a disappearing four patch for my sister. Shhhhh - she doesn't know!

I hope you all are happily quilting.

I completely understand you. I have not been able to sew for over a week because of family business. (i.e. kids soccer, kids halloween parties, kids this and kids that ;))
I am hoping to get my 9 year old sewing this weekend, he is off from school until Wed. If he completes a few things, it is a good weekend. Enjoy yours and I will soon be there sewing like everybody else.

I haven't been able to sew for two or more weeks :( I work at the local hospital and we just moved into a new building. Lots of LONG hours for the last month, but now back to normal hours :)

I'm hoping I can sew later. I just got done picking tomatoes and peppers and basil from my garden and giving it a watering along with the potted plants. It's a warm sunny, dry dry day today!

I agree, it is time to sew! I have been running every weekend with something on the calendar. This weekend it is my turn. Got it under the machine and half quilted, hope to get the other half done today!
