One of my daughters used to make fun of my fabrics, but then she had children and got hooked on scrapbooking. I know she spends more than I do and has stopped complaining about my fabric. Plus one of the granddaughters has become a mini grandma & loves fabrics & sewing. LOL

It's your money, and if you've got it to spare, then buy whatever and however much you want.

J, it's your money. Use it in a way that pleases you. Just give your daughter the 'eye-roll' if she ever brings it up again.

Too funny, she's still young. I am past 65 yo and I haven't seen everything yet.
Isn't funny that we all think that we've seen it all...
Let go and have fun!

Your post just makes me want to head to M*QC. Hancocks in Paducah, Kentucky has the most that I have seen so far.

Like my DH says, as long as we have the money, we are going to purchase what we would like... me fabric, him lumber! Lumber isn't cheap either. He loves quarter-sawn lumber the best, and exotic hardwoods.

Buy all the fabric that you can afford, and enjoy it.
