I got stiffed buying an antique Singer treadle sewing machine. It does not work at all but the cabinet is in good shape. I am considering buying a Janome 712T treadle that they claim will fit in my cabinet and would like to know if anyone on Quilting Board has any information on this particular sewing machine.

I'm moving this thread up hoping for some responses. I looked at the Janome threadle thinking a new machine would work better for me. Does anyone have this machine? Can you tell me if you have had any problems, any glitches adapting it to an antique table?
