I was wondering if anyone has used or may now own a Janome 8080.

I have found one listed locally for $200, the owner doesnt know how old machine is but said it works great and has lots of attachments.

I would mostly be using it for a "spare" or possibly to do some FMQ. I'm just not sure if it would be worth it...

Does anyone have any experience with this type of Janome?

I dont know about that machine, but almost EVERYONE loves Janome. I never hear anything BAD about them at all!
