Default Janome Artistic Quilter SD Help needed

I recently bought a Janome Artistic Quilter HD and am just now trying to use it. I had an HQ16 for a long time and didn't experience the kind of issues and lack of support to make this machine operate. Does anyone else out there have this machine that could perhaps help me with several issues I have? I have just got the machine together but can't seem to figure out the simplest things to begin quilting.
Thanks,
Sally

Is there a manual with it? That's where I would start. Can you be more specific with questions? It might help. Keep calling the vendor for help, and if they are unresponsive, post a review or two on their web site. That will get you some attention!

The manual is very generic and of no help at all. I ordered it on line through Amazon so there is no dealer here that will help me as I live in the tullies. I do have several specific questions. Such as do you pull the bobbin thread up as you do in using the HQ16? I tried that but it didn't work. This machine is not working like any other quilting machine I've used and am now hoping it was put together right when I received it. It stayed boxed for 5 months after it was delivered because we were moving so am sure of anything . I wish there was someone that also had this machine I could ask a couple questions of. There are several more questions but will post more later. Thank you very much for your reply.

Have you tried looking for Utube videos?

Does Janome offer support? HQ has fabulous customer support. If they do not respond I would find their Facebook page (if you are on it) and post your problems. That often results in fairly fast help.

I have not contacted Janome yet but will do right away. Thank you for that!! I have watched all the utube videos but they seem to be more reviews than actually instructional. Thank you so much for everyone's help and suggestions. I would love to connect with someone on the board that has this same machine.
