I had both flyer and coupon. My Jo-Ann seems to be an exception as I never have trouble and seem to have better sales.

The sales are different according to whatever region you live in. Some of the coupons I receive online are only for Southern California stores, whereas others are good at any JoAnn store. The regional managers decide what the specials will be for their particular area. Here, in Southern California, Keepsake Calico was 40% off in addition to the 25% off coupon.

My Joanns didn't have the 40% off Calicos either but had Fat Quarters on sale. This is in Michigan

Calicos here in San Diego area were not 40% off. I got the 25% off coupon by email, not in the flyer. I was able to get several Debbie Mum fabrics which were 50% off and use my 25% off coupon.

Hope for business sake this does not happen to a lot of people and hope the new owners do a better job.
I don't know why the flyers aren't getting to you, but your emails may be being blocked by your server and you wouldn't even know it. We switched email servers at work recently and all of a sudden we figured out that we weren't getting all of our emails...and some very important ones. It caused a LOT of problems. Anyway, our technician started researching it and sent us a link to the main server. I logged onto it and found several important emails...including some from Joann's. (Well, they ARE important to me!) Anyway, now I log on and check there at least once a week. I don't know how they classify SPAM, but they are not doing a very good job of it.
Wow...I never thought of this. I sure do wish my server would stop sending me all the Viagra and "explicit" emails...I have had to switch email accounts three times in the past two years because of this type of stuff coming to my spam box...and I just get tired of it.

I got my 25% off coupon in my email....fortunately I always get these emails! ;)

I also never got the 25% off. My Sister-in-law gave me the share with a friend part from hers. So we went Friday and I saved a bundle. haha. Something about spending to save?

They use the "What the market will bear" method of pricing, and if they overstock an item, they have a sale at that store only. Whoopee for capitalism...
