A couple posts mentioned a chain store would have iPads on Black Friday for $199.We called & was told that out of 8-10 stores in the city, only one would have it & they'd have ONE.
I'm too old to bother with Black Friday, but looks like a lot of ppl will be in for a shock after standing in line...rain/snow for hrs.I won't mention the shop name...why give them free publicity?

But because it is not a 'doorbuster' item, it can be special ordered -- but doubtful it would arrive by Christmas.

What poor business practices...I have run into this so many times with them. I just will not shop there anymore. (I quit buying fabric there several years ago) Would rather spend
more $$ and get excellent customer service.

My flyer said flannel is $1.29 a yard. I usually go and buy several bolts but really watch it....sometimes the width is only 40" instead of 42-44".
I bought some of the cheaper flannel and discovered that it had a wide printed selvedge with :
"Made especially for Joann's" so unfortunately it went into my quilt back. The fabric was only 39" wide after washing and removing that white white selvedge.

Can you get a rain check for the item and purchase it later? It does seem unfair to just have one on hand.

there is nothing worth the time involved, fighting the crowds for a price that there isn't going to be enough to go around. I've gotta get tires on friday - I hope the place isn't full of husbands whose wives are our shopping

That is a good price, just make sure of the quality. It might be the really lightweight kind that won't hold up.
