Does the largest size cut every 1/2 inch or is it just for 2-1/2 inch strips? I'd like to get one that will cut the folded width of the fabric (22 inches) but not the one that's just for jelly roll size strips.

The one that cuts the jelly roll size strips is the same one that cuts folded fabric. It can also be used for cutting charm and layer cake squares. The largest one cuts the width of fabric every 2 1/2" , but I have used it to cust 3" and 3 1/2" strips as well. Each ruler can be used mutiple ways.

I just discovered that I have one I bought last year to make a short-cut basket square, but have never gotten around to using it - looks like it is time to get it out. I didn't even realize what I had till I read this post! LOL!

So glad you are not disappointed. I know that anyone who would be so foolish as to try and take mine away from me would be in for trouble.

What is it? I'm new at sewing and can't cut a straight line, draw a straight line and still trying to learn to sew 1/4 seam, but love the trying. I'm wondering if it would help me.

It's this amazing cutting tool...I don't know how I stumbled across it last week but I asked the Board if anyone had one and got so many positive replies I bought one....it arrived yesterday and all I can say is it's a marvel !!!......it is a cutting ruler for cutting your fabric....instead of being just a solid piece of plastic it has lines cut into it which you place your rotary cutter and just go up the slot....hey presto perfectly straight cut line.....the slots are measurd at 1/2 on the Shape Plus so cutting strips is easy peesy....to cut a square...just cut up the two slots that are the right width measurement then turn the ruler round...even more easy peesy......best thing since the sewing machine !

What size did you get? I could only find the 12" square one.
