Ok I wasn't sure about this tool. I have purchased many tools for quilting and found few where worth the price and sometimes difficult to use. Gadget queen here! I have almost every tool made in recent years for quilting. I read reviews about this pressing tool and they where favorable. So I jumped in and bought it. I am soooooo very happy I did. I am doing 2BOM and HST blocks , 8 in each block so they can stretch very easily. I did not believe how nice it works in preventing the awful stretching of the block. Try it out and see what you think.

Is this something that is used for pressing? How exactly do you use a Steady Betty?

I saw there are several sizes; ironing board cover, hand covers for FMQ , and several sizes for pressing. I purchased the 16 by 16. Great size for large blocks.

I bought one from Joanns with my 50% coupon, but due to moving I have not had a chance to use it. Can't wait.

Would you please enlighten those of us who have never heard about Steady Betty?

What is she all about?
