I agree with everyone else. Folks love the small stuff they just pick up and buy without thinking about the price. The larger stuff, they somehow must justify spending the money right now. The ornaments sound like a great idea and I think the rice bags would be pretty easy. When is the show Karla?

Okay--for potholders--I'd want to make sure they were safe--is one piece of cotton batting enough? Or should I layer two?

I found all my strips and backs already cut for the ornaments!! :D I make tiny tied log cabins.... I can work on those even after school starts.

sandpat--the show is in Nov sometime--I'm supposed to get more info about it in August. The woman in charge said they'd never had quilted stuff there---but too much jewelry. Once school starts my time to quilt will diminish significantly--so now it my time to prepare.

No one's mentioned just how many items I should shoot for--if I have 25 varied items and add say 20 smaller ones.... is that a good number? I'd hate to run low--well--let me rephrase that--I'd hate to run low too early.

Totes are actually really easy! If you put too much thought into it....which is what I tend to do with EVERYTHING...then it makes it a bit harder.

Have fun!!
Oh, pick some for me too!
We had a blueberry grove growing up. Some of the bushes were wild, but dad and I pruned and trimmed them back and finally got them to grow HUGE berries that were REALLY sweet. Oh man...I miss fresh fruit!

I love the idea of the Xmas ornaments--they should go together quickly, and people will buy them because they're different. Great solutiion!
