I go by spurts, sometimes I am pretty good about spending time quilting and lately I have been very lax.

You really are not the only one. I do sew in spurts and sometimes other activities get in the way. But it is an objective to try to sew.......

I don't sew everyday. I work fulltime and watch my 2yo gd 3 afternoons after I get off work. Sewing and 2 year olds do not mix.

like some others on the board, I have to be in the mood to sew, even tho I am home all the time. If I sew when I'm not in the mood, I just make one mistake after another. I could never do it as a business.

I quilt/sew by the project. I'll finish a quilt and not touch another for months. Now if I could only quit buying fabric in between!

[quote=Beth Dishong]I am home on permanent disability so I do get to sew everyday. I would lose my mind if I couldn't sew everyday. I use the machine or work on a project I have that I need to sew by hand. There were many, many years that I worked outside the home and couldn't sew. I hate that I am unable to work any longer but, I love that I can now sew when I want.[/quote Same here, can no longer drive, so spend a lot of time at home sewing.

I was working two jobs. Sewing? Once a month! last week I quit my full time job and was excited about being able to sew more. Now that I am not going to be working, my family has other plans for me; watching baby, taking MIL to Dr.'s, etc.
