I came across this and it sounds wonderful. Minick & Simpson from Moda and the Semper Fi Fund are doing this for our Soldiers....they are asking all quilters to donate 1 block from the pattern (see link), you write your name & State on the block and then send to Moda, they'll square up blocks and assemble the quilts & distribute to wounded soldiers. What a great idea!
Here's the link for the pattern: http://www.unitednotions.com/LA_just_one_star.pdf

Let's all try to do 1 block!

Blessings,
MaryAnna

I will do one and I'm going to ask the ladies I quilt with on Tuesday to each do one also.
Thanks for letting us know about this project.

count me in too. I printed out the pattern so I can take it with me to the store to get material. Can't find my red or blue. Only found a little that I was going to send to miss gigglewings and haven't done it yet.

Thanks for posting the link - I'll even take it to guild and ask if anyone wants to help.

Knowing how giving quilters are - I'll bet they end up with more than 100 quilts!
