What size square of fabric should I use to make english paper pieced hexagons? I had an instruction sheet but seem to have missed placed it and can't remember what size I had cut my fabric to last time. Thank for you help. :)

What size do you want the finished hexagon to be?

If you want it 3 inches across (and that's straight, not on point), then you can cut the squares 3.5".

i make hexagons from 1/4" up to 3" so...it really depends on how big your finished hex is supposed to be. add 1/2" to the finished size (or a little more) for your seam allowance- if i'm making 1" hexagons i start with a 1 1/2" piece of fabric.
