didn't piece one with this fabric, but did quilt one for a friend It quilted just fine and looks great--very interesting texture,too.

I use Essex linen all of the time. I absolutely love it. It does fray a bit more than cotton while piecing. But It quilts up so nicely and washes up great. It's very soft and comfy.

Linen is a long wearing fabric. I am sure that a cotton/linen blend will work nicely into a quilt.
