I recently bought a beautiful piece of material. It is called The Quiltermakers' Garden and is multicolor with a large pattern of hydrangeas on it. What quilt pattern would any one suggest to use. Thank you

I would pick out fabrics that coordinate and use the large floral for the borders. Something like a garden twist would be great with the twist part done in marbles and the background in a background print with a large floral border.

I think there's one posted in pictures right now. It has a twisted ribbon running thru it.

You could use a fussy cut of the large flowers as an alternating block to a 9-patch. In the 9=path, you could use the Hydrangea fabric and a coordinating fabric. I did one like that (sorry - no pic) and it was pretty.

If you don't know: a fussy cut means that you select a specific part of the fabric and cut it out. It makes the fabric look like swiss cheese.
