I came across this group just doing some browsing and it is amazing! Does anyone here belong to it?

They put on a lot of quilt shows, events, classe, etc. They also do some retreats that I am thinking of going to. I've never been to one!

Their website, though is just great! They have an awesome online quilt registry, with pictures. It's here:

http://www.khqs.info/QuiltCounty.cfm

You can see who/what/where/when/why about each quilt, LOL! They even have things like the quiltmakers occupation, religion and mother and father's names! Every detail they can provide about the quilts is also there, such as batting, fiber content, how many triangles, squares, etc.

Lots of info on old quilts. It's also "searchable". You can search by year, pattern, technique, etc. I can spend hours on there! If you have old quilts that you are trying to identify the pattern, it may help you. They have a bunch from the 1800's!

Here's the main website, too:

My very dear friend is a member and has invited me to attend their retreat. I'm going! I have a beautiful Ky quilt pattern made by the group. I'm originally from KY.
