I made a table top and want to birth it. Do I cut the
batting and backing the same measurement as the top?

Disregard my previous post. I misunderstood the term "birthing" and probably gave you a bum answer. My apologies.

They should all be the same size when turned. I cut my backing and batting a little larger, layer and sew, then trim so they are all the same size to turn.
