I too am trying to clean out my sewing room, as many of us are. Other than donating, any ideas what to do with all the knit fabric I bought when my kids were little. I am making quilts for the Ronald McDonald house but not sure how to incorporate those fabrics into it. Also I have a variety of fleece, silk, cotton/poly blend etc. Thanks for all the suggestions from you creative people out there!!

just use a fusible interfacing on the back and cut the blocks as you normally would. It also makes a nice back for a quilt you tie instead of quilt.

The variety fabrics are great for wall hangings, tote bags and such.

Thanks for the tips, never thought about fusing the back of them!
