Yes, Connecting Threads is great. They are the sister company of a yarn online site "Knit Picks" and they are just as good. Both places know me well.

They are friendly, responsible, and carry wonderful stuff. I have ordered several times and am always happy. I highly recommend them!

I love their Essential Pro threads, sold longarm machine thread but also are great piecing threads. It's 70 wt. poly, comes in lots of colors, where else can you get 3315 yds of thread for $6! I have every color. prefer it over their cotton thread, less lint.

Connecting Threads will send a #35 box of material for your "Charity Sew Projects" for the shipping price of $30. We sent for two boxes for our local quilt show where we give bags to volunteers and students and I couldn't lift one by myself. I think they were more like #50. It was full of the materials left after putting together the kits and most of it was pretty large. You have to give them a non-profit ID number which your chapter should have and you can get one per month. I'm a big fan of CThreads also. Happy New Year everyone.....

I ordered fabrics from CT at end of November. They were delivered to a US address for me and forwarded on. I received package on Christmas Eve. One yd of fabric was the wrong, they told me to keep wrong fabric and they refunded the cost of the original fabric (did not want it sent out). Excellent customer service.
