I have three borders. Do I have to miter all of them or can I put the small framing border on and then miter the other two? I use the framing border to square up the quilt. How would you do that if you mitered all three together?

Sew all 3 borders together and miter them like it is just 1 wide border.

This is by far the easiest way to do it. Then you can 'play' with the borders at the miter right side up and one end folded over til they look just right, then iron them and pin them. The sewing is the easy part after all that.
