A lady in my small sewing group has a pair of these scissors and I have never seen them with the lasor since the battery has died and she never thinks to replace them. But I do know that she said she loved them.

I have a pair of those. The laser is not actually in a straight line with the blades though.

One of my geek sons gave me a pair of these scissors a couple of years ago. I loved them. I even used them as a laser pointer in my class room. I need to replace the battery.
He got mine from Thinkgeek.com. Yep, it is a real place.

Oh my!! I'm laughing at myself, because my first thought was that a laser beam that cut fabric would also be dangerous!
