Who remembers when this used to be an option, way back when, at department stores and such? Have to wonder, if lay-a-way was still available, would there be such credit card debt out there? If anything, lay-a-away taught some patience and avoided the "must have it now!" syndrome.

I am here to tell ya I agree its a very dangerous thing.....great customer service which makes it even easier/harder?
