If you have made one of the puppy minkee blankets, could you please offer suggestions as to how to sew this together. I'm thinking it is sewn with a 1/2" seam and then turned inside out. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

They are most likely sewn on a serger. Minky is kinda hard to work with. I made robes for my 3 DGD's for Christmas out of Minky and used the serger. It is rather stretchy and the sewing machine made puckery seams.

I wonder if you used a roller foot if the minky would be easier to sew?

What if I use a lightweight fusible pellon, would that help keep the minkee in control on the sewing machine?

I found the fabric to roll ahead of the roller foot; maybe a walking foot, I didn't try that.

You can't use fusible on minky; it won't stand the heat. And if you use interfacing you lose the softness and flexibility of the minky. I myself would just buy the toys. They are cute but to me too much work, especially if it is a little one. Larger animals would be easier to sew and without too much detail.
