Starting Dec. at Hancock's all people 55 and older will get a 15% discount on total order if you shop the first Wednesday of each month. I am 55 so I qualify. Whoopee!

I saw the sign in our Joann's sore that today is Senior day. You get an additional 15%

I just got home from JoAnn's and because "I am a senior" I saved an extra 18.37 on my purchase. Been shopping there for 20 years......... I'm there at least once a week if not more and I never knew they gave a senior discount until today. I was thrilled needless to say. :)

I too had seen they were offering the discount for seniors but what I also noticed is they don't have any real specials on that day. Their best prices seem to start on Thursdays and end after the weekend. Just an observation for I do try to be a wise consumer. I have used some of Jo-Anns 50% coupons at Hancocks if there is something better there than Jo-Anns. The quality Of JoAnns fabric is not improving but definitely going higher in price, not saying that Hancocks prices aren't getting any lower. For those of us on a budget, I think we do have to get the best we can for our money.
