Red face Link to Camo Quilts video

I wrote recently about a news article appearing on NBC News Tonight, but it got rescheduled twice. Then it got cancelled altogether. I received the following email on Wed., but you can still watch the video that was supposed to air -- it's short, but was worth the wait!
    "Hi Everyone,

I have found out that we will not be on the NBC Nightly News for Making a Difference. They have sent me a link to watch our episode on the internet. I hope you all enjoy.

    Quilts comfort troops

Stitch by stitch, Linda Veldboom Wieck and her team of Wisconsin volunteers spread patriotism and a piece of home creating lightweight quilts for U.S. troops. NBC’s Mara Schiavocampo reports.

    Linda"

Hope you enjoy it, I loved it!

Loved the video. Great job you and the other folks are doing making the quilts for the troops. They SO deserve it. Keep up the good work.

I'm sorry I didn't make it clear.......I'm not involved with the project, just made one quilt from a kit of theirs for a friend in the Army. I keep up with the CamoQuilt projects, though, and Linda Wieck keeps me informed of their progress.
I ordered a kit from them, and did the quilt myself, but paid for the materials they sent. Like the video says, it's not free to them, so any kits mailed out for you to make, aren't free, but for a worthy cause, so I didn't mind the expense. I mostly just wanted to get the word out about their cause, and their love for the troops.

What a wonderful job you and others are doing. My granddaughter's husband will be deploying in Dec. for Afganistan again for the 3rd time. I will have to make one of those for him. God bless you all!
