I went to the local second hand shop today and found a whole panel of apliq. for .50Cents. 5yards x 60 Inches of a sping yellow with eyelets in it for $1.50. Some electric shears (made for quilting) for a $1.00 and some other odd and ends material a whole heavy bag full for a grand total of a few cents over $14.00. Not bad for a snowy wisconsin saturday

I wish our goodwill stores and thrift shops would have more usable items like that.

Great find. It is always hit or miss with the goodwill and thrift shops. I have to go a zillion times to all of them to finally find something good.

Me too. One week they will have a lot of hand done stuff that they are giving away for next to nothing. Then the next week they are really expensive. Material (cotton) doesn't show up very offten it's usually satin type or knit matterial.
