Welcome from Georgia. I am afraid I am WAY to far away-but your invitation sounds so fun!!! I am sure you will find someone to "play" with soon--you have all the goodies to lure in a quilting friend. :-)

Boy I wish we lived closer. Texas, USA is a little far. You never know. If I am ever that way I just might look you up.

I've often thought we could hop clear around this world hopping from quilt friend to quilt friend.

Any time that you all are in the area, just message me and drop on by, lots of room here, in and out of the house, There are some fishing places close by, my husband has been known to go out, not sure if it is on a lake or what, I don't go with him. There is also a quad and dune buggies, lots to see and do.

to be honest, it is a mess right now. It is a work in progress, if I focus for a few days most of the stuff will find a proper home etc, I am all scattered right now. It would be easier if I only did one kind of thing, but since I do crafts, sewing, quilting, embroidery work, there is stuff from all of that floating around, it also has most of the comforts of home, tv dvd player, fridge, microwave, coffee tea, I have a peg board but short pegs. oh and did I gotget the say that there is a dune buggy keeping warm in here right now. It doesn't like the cold.

You should consider taking a class at Quilt Essential in St. Albert. You will meet lots of quilters from your neck of the woods there. I am in Edmonton and have met other quilters from Legal at classes. Apparently there is a wonderful long arm quilter in Legal that lots of the gals take there quilts to.

I have been thinking of taking a class, just when ever I look, can't decide what one to take and at what level I should be at. I have never taken a quilting course, and I have my own habits, not that some of them don't need to be cleaned up a little, but I have heard some instructors have their pet peeves. That and when I look at what they want me to bring to class, it seem excessive to what I use at home, I am wondering if I really want to carry all that around with me. Basically I am really shy and have a hard time just walking into someplace like that by myself. so most of the rest is just an excuse.
