log Cabin blocks are made here by using strips of material running one way for the top half of the block and then reverse the strips going the other way or down the block, using made by using four blocks to make a 12" block.

An old nickname for eyes is peepers as in the fun song- Jeepers creepers, Where'd you get those peepers. I once corresponded with a lady from NZ and had to explain what New Englanders call Fall Leaf Peepers (changing foliage tourists). Glad the mystery is solved. This was Fun!

I am still laughing at this posting. Thanks for that!!! And as someone else said, we sure have gotten a "peeper education" today!!! Who knew there could be so many kinds of "peepers"?

I also thought of baby chicks and the peeps candy (still love them). I was waiting to see a log cabin quilt block made from different fabrics all with baby chicks on it.

Default Almazuelas

Hi Heather from another Queenslander. I saw this on QB a while back and kept it because it looked interesting. Didn't know it was called peepers. To me peepers are eyes. Guess that shows my age. I hope these pics help.

I am so confused --peepers are candy chicks that was only yellow- now multi-colors .Also peppers are frogs which we call peet frogs who are singing for a mate.Egg crate is foam. I truly think I have been smelling paint to long and the day is far to spent.Maybe you can find a log cabin pattern on equilters.

Ahhhh! We used to call that piping. Sometimes, there was a cord running through the piping/peeper.

I still don't know what the OP was looking for - but the various definitions of 'peepers' has been fun!
