[b] Hi e1. I am looking for a previous post, that gave information on how to make a very simple, 'fence' type quilt. I am a quilting-challenged, 4-ever beginner, here! I think that fence pattern, might be the first one, that I can complete. I just cannot find it, now. I was browsing the forum, and read about it, but did not write the info, down, because I was waiting for the Handicapped transport, van to take me to the doctor. As with my luck, the van pulled up, and I had to exit, out. I have been looking, on the dates I went to the doctor, this month, but that does not necessarily mean that the post was entered, on those days. I have a gazillion posts, that I read, because all of you, share such wonderful ideas. I have not been a member of the forums, very long. I am lo-tech. Oh, I am not complaining, I am thankful. I appreciate all of you, and I just love this entire site.
I am Blessed,

i'll bet you mean the Rail Fence quilt pattern. it's ... like ... totally ... the eeeeziest pattern out there - except maybe one big block for the front and another for the back.
i googled "rail fence quilt pattern" for you. at least 13 bazillion links. this is the first one on the list. looks pretty good at a quick glance:

Emerald when you do find a post that you want to save and come back to, while you are there click on bookmark at the top of the page and it will be saved for you. When the next screen comes up give it a title (discription) and click update. To get back click on "My Bookmarks".
Also go to the search and type in rail fence.

[b] Ok, thank you becky, I will check out the search area, as you suggested. There is one good thing about not knowing something...you sure can learn a lot, when you have sense enough, to ask for help.
Happy quilting,
