Default Longarm chat site

I have looked for a site that concentrates on the longarm quilter even it it costs to subscribe. I have found
longarmchat.com but cannot find any mention, good or bad. of how LA'ers feel about it. The joining fee in nominal but still------. Does anyone belong? and what do you think?

looks like you can sample quite a few of the forums for free...

that may help you decide.

There are also several yahoo groups dedicated to longarms. Some specialize in specific machines and others are generic.

No, not really, the type of things that I am interested in are in the "for Pay" part of the forum. Actually, most of the free topics seem to be rarely uses.

My favorite sites are mqresource.com and apqs forums....I'm not an apqs owner but it is a very active forum and everyone is super helpful. Mqresource is awesome but a little bit less active. I've spent days reading through old posts coming up with ideas for my business. Both forums have incredibly talented people who post and everyone is very very helpful and encouraging. I also researched brands by reading forums.

Neither sites cost money to join, but mqresource has a premier membership that allows you to view premier videos. I bought the membership to support the site and because they had some really interesting videos I wanted to watch. one of the videos was how to piece a quilt on the longarm. I made a full minky quilt that way. They also offer some online classes that I may join ie feathers.
