I have seen several of these posted. Is there a pattern or directions somewhere? I can't figure out how to do it by looking at the photos.

Please post a pic of your D9P quilt when you finish it.

It is actually a very easy block to make.

Here is a great idea to use the DNP:

That's a great link, BellaBoo...nice contrast to just using plain squares.

All this talk about the D9 patch made me want to try one block.
I measured exactly down the center and across the middle when I cut the block apart...then turned the quarters to sew them back together. Must not have measured so correctly after all...lol.
1/8" of an inch off makes a difference when you try to sew them back together.

Hello Quilting G

Here's the details you were after: Disappearing Nine Patch Quilts by Nancy Brenan Daniel - not too sure if I am unable to post the ISBN here. If you need that too please PM me with your email address & I'll forward it on to you.

Tisha

P.S It took me over 6 months to locate this book - well its only 16 pages, I adventually found it online at a shop in Vancouver - I bought the last 2 copies one for my cousin & one for myself. Apparently it is out of print at this current time. Good Luck

Not many seams have to match on this pattern. It's very forgiving.
