    Default Longarm quilting machines

I have been looking at longarms for awhile now and I am starting to narrow it down now. Does anyone have a ABM Innova and if so what do you tink of them?

    Thank You

before (diving in) & spending thousands of dollars on a longarm you should visit dealers/ shows & test drive as many different ones you can find- then choose the one that YOU like the best-offers what you want/need. we are all different and like different things- it's like buying a new car (and about as expensive) so test drive & get the one that works for you- not necessarily the one that works for me.

i do not personally have an abm innova but have used one at my friends home. it was easy to learn. nice and simple. however, i have not really tried others for anything more than just a test drive at the shows so probably not a really good judge.

A friend of mine has an Innova and loves hers. I'm getting a HQ sit down model. I had a framed one and didn't enjoy quilting on it as much as I enjoy sitting in front of my sewing machine and quilting.

I agree with others - if at all possible, go to a show or two and try them out. Each machine and frame combo will feel different. That's also the same with the different frames and identical machines. Of course at the shows they have them on the best frames there are lol. I'm not sure how close you are to a show but it would be worth a road trip to try as many out as you can before you buy.

I have the Innova and I love it. It has some great features and is a dream to drive. Charismah is another board member who has the Innova, and there are others. There are very active Innova groups on yahoo, one for the Innova, one for Pantovision (an Innova product that can be used on many different longarms), and one for the computerized Innova. Support is excellent, 24/7. I don't think you would regret your decision with Innova.
