OK.. I just got back from my longarm class, and I have to say that I had a WONDERFUL time!!!... a friend from work and I took the class together and it was FANTASTIC.. best money I've spent in a long time.. and they give you your "quilt" when you're finished...The class was only $40. and we split the cost.. so for $40 we had a fantastic time, and "all day" class AND a quilt... you can't beat that. I think I'm gonna like this A LOT!!!

Didn't ask you in the chat session, but are you now able to "rent"time on the long arm?

That sounds like so much fun. Can you use their machine now? That would be great.

Yes, they have 4 machines 2 that I think I remember are Quilt Pro 16's one other Quilt pro and a Gammill. and now that I've taken the class I can rent a machine. They are very reasonable IMHO at $10/ hour. And I look forward to doing that soon.

That is great Tippy, i love playing with my machine, it is so much easier than trying to stuff it through my regular machine. (I don't hand quilt but want to learn one day) And depending on the amount of quilting you put into it, it doesn't take that long to do the quilting, a lot cheaper than sending it out to someone else to do.
