Red face Look what I found!!!

I stopped at a moving sale the other day. First thing I asked was, do you have any fabric. the lady said, yes, there is a box under that table. Well, I looked and sure nuf, there it was. Whole box for $1.00. Down from it was a bag marked, $1.00. Looked in it and low and behold; more fabric. Yea!!! So, I scanned the tables. Found all kinds of things. But, my attention was drawn to a small red box. this little box is just about 6 X 8 inches square and maybe 5 inches tall. My curiosity got the best of me. so, I flipped the little latch. Wow!! What did I find inside?? Before you scroll down, look at the box and see if you can guess what is inside. The price on the box said $7.00. But, I got it for $4.00. Aint it cute?

I found one almost identical on e-bay. The starting bid was 44.00. It was made in Japan in the 50's. It is a child's toy. It runs on batteries. That is all I know so far. I have to get some batteries. But it uses a size 11 needle and even had a spool of thread on th wooden spool with it. I think it makes a chain stitch. But, not sure.
