    I am working on some scarves that the fabric is sheer, is there a certain needle I should be using on my machine to sew these???

    I would use a small needle, maybe 8 or 9. You don't want to tear the fabric but have the needle slide through it.

    Ball point needle comes to mind, but they may be better suited for knits. Maybe google could help.
