I'm fairly new to quilting and made my step-daughter a tote and matching i-phone cover as part of her Christmas present. I posted it as the weather prevented us travelling before Christmas and she phoned and said they were 'awesome'. She's really shy and quiet and rarely makes comments so I was thrilled. She'll be getting more home made goodies!
I smile every time I think of it.

It is such a wonderful feeling when a recipient of our creations is so happy with them.

It's always heart warming when we see our young ones appreciate the crafted items, especially since you say she is normally so reserved, I'm glad she was willing to express her happiness. Great Job!

So glad SD likes her gift. I made a quilt for Christmas for my son's girl friend. She LOVED it. Her comment was "no one ever spent this much time on a gift for me." I was so happy I could do that for her! :)
