I saw her work, and fell in love with the Meadows of Black Forest, seen online at this site:

I have not been able to find any other information about Ellen Heck patterns, which were available at one point.
Does anyone here have any information?
Thanks!

the only thing i have ever heard of her is that she's a printmaker (i didn't know she's also a quilter - is this the same one?) somewhere in california.
did you google her? or wikipedia?
the other thing i know is that if you attempt this quilt nobody will see you for the next 100 years.
-edit- i just wondered, are you sure this is a quilt? could it be a print?

Hi,
I have no idea what her job might be. I read that she's done a lot of patterns based on botanical prints, so maybe it is the same person.
Yes, that is a quilt, it is from the Road to California 2004 Winners website:

Thanks,
Connie

Sorry
I can't help - but I have to say ~~Wow~~ the workmanship is amazing.
Other than the suggestion made by Butterflywing to google her.

Amazing what certain people acheive. It's a real beauty, thanks for giving us all a nudge to this stunning work of art.
