I got a new machine and I am excited. :) I decided on the Baby Lock Grace. It seemed perfect for me being a beginner and it seems to have more than what I need right now. I think I got a really good deal too, 299. and they threw in quilting and darning feet and a Baby Lock case. There was nothing wrong with my Kenmore but I really wanted a newer machine. In the short time I have been on this board I have learned it is reasonable to have more than 1 machine! I'm sure I will pick up many many more of your "habits" over time (lol).....

My local shop will give me back full credit within a year towards an upgraded machine too, I am not sure if this is common but I thought that was pretty good. Now, if I can figure out how to thread the bobbin I will be golden!

I have been thinking of getting a new machine but am not sure what I want. I don't do anything fancy just sew seams.
