When you do find it have a mini quilt pocket made and ready to put it in with a string attached, and maybe a cowbell to go with it. That's what I intend to do when I find mine that disappeared almost a year ago! Maybe they eloped together somewhere. :)

This happened to us. I asked my husband of 1 year to wash my car. He did and lost his wedding ring. We looked all over for a week. Did not find it. So we bought another one and within that week we found his old one as I was pulling weeds. Now he has a spare.

I was putting my rulers on my new ruler holder I got last wedekend. the holder looks like a belt holder and has a hook to hang over a rod. Well, I had to fight the opening to get the rulers on BUT the dumb hook fell off somewhere and now I can't find it. Grrrrrrr!!

If it were me, I would probably find it on my arm where it's supposed to be! Have you ever looked for your glasses and found they were already on your face? That's me!!!! ;-)

I lost a remote once. a long time after it just fell out of the back of the recliner. The chair was done with it.

I think someone should make a remote or tv that has a find feature. So that the remote would ring or beep loudly till you were able to find it. (like many cordless telephones have)
