How about when you splurge for good quality fabric, has everything going for it, looks good, feels good has a good reputation. Then you wash it, it doesn't shrink , it doesn't bleed, but my dish rags look better.
OK thats mine

Pet Peeves!

1. When you buy expensive fabric from a quilt store only to discover it frays!

2. When you stitch the fabric together only to discover one of them is wrong side out and you have to rip it out!

3. When paper piecing you fold over the fabric to discover it doesn't cover the allotted space and you have to rip it out!

4. When your scissors cut where they shouldn't and you have to rip it out!!!

5. Running out of fabric before you run out of blocks to make and you have no idea where or when you bought the fabric.

I could go on.

Getting all the points in a row PERFECTLY pinned....and they STILL move when you sew it together.
Needing just ONE MORE PIN...and dropping it in the carpet.
Shredding thread causing bobbin barf.

Running over to JoAnn's with enticing coupons (50 per cent off) for various things and then finding that they have marked down the very items you wanted to use the coupons for at 30 per cent off, which renders the coupon useless.

can't you still use the coupon to get the item at 50% off instead of 30% off?

NO, It's only for items not on sale. And you would have to read and read and try to use that coupon and then it happens........."oh, thats in the 10 20 or 30 percent sale, and you end up using the coupon on a 2 dollar item. Doesn't happen all the time but enough to tic you off..........another Joann, gotta use that coupon person
