I've been considering buying a Sizzix or Accuquilt Go. If you have either of these machines would you tell me how you like it? I've seen a lot of machines advertised but I think most of them are for scrapbooking. It seems that both the Sizzix and Accuquilt are a bit pricey, but are they worth it?

I have the Go and love it. There is a new Vagabond die cut machine that is electric, more like the industrial fabric die machines, but I'm not sure how many dies for quilt shapes are available for it. The Accuquilt is all about quilting cuts, nothing else.

I have the go and I love it, especially for cutting my strips. If you goggle accuquilt you can find some great deals. I found the best prices on dies and mats at quilting warehouse. I printed their price list and took it to Joann's and they matched the prices. Good Luck

I've actually decided on the Sizzix but have no actual experience with either...

I just go a Go a week or so ago and LOVE it! I love the tumbler pattern. I have enough tumbler pieces cut for 2 small lap quilts and took me about an hour. I try to be frugal and cut my fabric into pieces just about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch bigger than the die. Takes me a few minutes more but really cut down on waste. I also have the apple core and 5 inch square. I hope to add more later on.

I have the Sizzix. Haven't gotten it out to use it yet, still trying to get some other things done. BUT..one of the main reasons I bought it, other than the price was because some of the GO cutters will fit.
