Default Machine embroidered barns question...

I was at a quilt show and saw two quilts that had squares with machine embroidered barns on some of the squares...they appeared to be one color designs. The barns also featured a quilt square on them.

i haven't been able to contact the maker of the quilt so hoping one of you has or has seen these designs. Thanks!

Are you sure they were machine embroidery! There are some barn patterns in Redwork hand embroidery I think. Maybe one of the machine embroidery members will recognize where they came from or the pattern.

Here is one set I found, but they are hand embroidered.

https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/1524...n-redwork-hand

Also this one for the Appalachian Memories Quilt - not sure if hand or machine embroidered

https://www.primroselane.com/redwork - scroll down

Perhaps if you googled 'redwork barn embroidery designs' you may come up with the correct one.

Primrose Lane does have the machine embroidery Appalachian Barn Quilt. I could not find it on the website. You could call them and ask. They also have machine embroidery quilt designs for covered bridges, chickens, snowmen, and some Halloween designs. I have purchased them and have stitched out most of the barn designs and a couple of the Halloween designs to make a wall hanging. They stitch our beautifully and come in 3 sizes with complete directions to make the quilt. Beth Dix and her husband were vendors at our guild quilt show and are the nicest people. She originally designed for redwork and I had bought the hand work design kits, but my old arthritic fingers just can't do it anymore. On their website is a schedule of the shows they will be at in 2018. Maybe they will be at one near you.
