I start with a block embroidery and then go from there.

I embroidered the center of my Twister Wreath, then embellished it with a few snowflakes and holly berries, stitched in the ditch, and done.

Check out Renee' Haddadin's creations on her website that combine embroidery with quilting. http://www.renaequilts.com/ then click on gallery. Page one shows what can be done to make a reversible quilt.

I love to make quilts that have embroidery on them. Here is one I did for my daughter. And our granddaughter's 1st embroidered quilt.

I really like the shape of the table topper. Where did you get the pattern? Looks like it's lined ... thinking about a reversible with two holidays. lol
