Singer 6211C
#1
Helllo,
Was wondering if anyone out there can help me. I am new to quilting have not even started yet, but got some good info so far. My mother is giving me a sewing machine that was my aunts, it is a singer 6211C however there is no user manual with it and I have had no luck on line finding one. Does anyone know where i might find it?

I could not find a way to download the manual at the first site, I did find that site on my own, then the second site I had also found but you have to pay for a subscription to download it so wasnt wanting to do that. Thank you for your help though!

Here are a number of manuals for your model that you can download in pdf format that are free

I think I must be an idiot or something lol. The only thing I get from this link is links that have a bunch of odd things when I download the singer file, i get public health info and news information but no sewing manual. Have you tried these links and which one did you pick?? The links at the very top of the page require you to have a membership to download it.

Are you sure the model number is correct? I think the last digit is supposed to be a number, not a letter.
Here is the Singer website. I think they will sell you a manual for your machine for $15 or so. However, they don't have a model 6211C.
http://www.singerco.com/accessories/manuals.html
They do have a Singer Model 6211, and for that model they say to use the manual for the 6201.
Here is a site where you can download a manual for a 6211 or 6201 for $5:
http://www.mastersewusa.com/info_s6201_6211.html
I saw that the above website also lists a manual for a 6212C.
Most of the Singer sewing machines are very similar in terms of threading and useage. I regularly fix up old machines for charity and only rarely need to consult the net to figure out threading, etc. Only a few Singer models are different. Most likely, for yours, any older sewing machine manual would be enough for you to understand how to load the bobbin, thread the machine, etc.

Well My mom was reading it to me I dont have the machine in hand yet but she said there is no manual with it so I wanted to be ready for when I get it. So there may not be a C on the end that is just what she told me. Thanks for the help everyone!! I will see what I can get for an old manual, wasnt sure if most of them were the same or not, I really just need to know how to thread it and all of that. Thanks again!
