    Default Made out pretty good

Went to fabric store today and did pretty good. Got about 14 yards of fabric for $30.00 and couple notions. Every time I see a small thimble sz petite, I grab one. Got 3 1/2 yards for .89 a yard. It was the end of the bolt. I am going to go back but thought I'd be easy and not shock Dh too hard. Going to pick up few more after the weekend. Works for me.

Sounds like you did really well! And I thought I got a good deal at a group of 1 & 2yd cuts of nice flannel @ $3.99 for the 2 yds of fabric. Need to look for one more color to round out the group.

Wow, that sure beats what I was able to find and was feeling pretty pleased---until now! I am glad you found a bonanza. Good for you.

I made out pretty good at Christmas. MY DHS gave me a $100 gift card at a LQS, $100 to spend at another LQS and he is paying for the two quilt camps I go to one in July and one in Sept. The one in Sept. he is going to pay for the extra night and the mystery quilt they always do in Sept.

Wonderful, for all of you. I am getting an itchy foot to go shopping again. I thought I was done from all the Christmas shopping frenzy; but I guess I am over it. Especially thinking of two quilts that I want to get started on, and don't have enough of the fabrics that I am thinking of using. I'll probably end up going into another totally different direction once I get into a store. I worked on my new-to-me 401A today; made a quilt square, and found all the little quirks that the former owner was probably dealing with. I'll bring that up in another post in a day or two.

Wow... what fabulous gifts from you hubby! He 'gets it', doesn't he? Mine wouldn't have a clue.
