Default Quilts Without Corners Book: Tree Skirt Pattern

Does anyone have this book? I want to order it. What is the exact ruler that will be needed to make the Tree Skirt in the book? Is it the longer wedge ruler or the shorter one and which degree? Has anyone made this. I'd love to see photos. I saw this made at a quilt shop in Vermont and just loved it. I haven't been able to find the book locally so I am heading to Amazon.
Thanks
MA

I bought the ruler for that several years ago at a Quilt festival and have never used it, seeing it again, I just might try one out!

All designs are written for your choice of 9 or 10 degree wedge rulers.
Okay. I cheated. I copied and pasted that from the Amazon listing..
I have had my eye on that book for some time as well... but just haven't gotten around to getting it. I know that I will have fun once I get it but I have so many other projects on my to do list that I want to make first.

I want to do the one that looks like a giant peppermint candy design. I know I won't get to it for this Christmas. The book has instructions for both the 9 and 10 degree rulers in it. It just takes a different number of wedges to make the circle. The book I'm thinking of also has the round butterfly pattern in it (front cover). Really cool!
